Elimination of Child & Bounded labour through establishment of Non formal Basic Education Schools in district Khanewal
Government of Pakistan is taking steps to gradually decrease the level of child labour in the country. For prohibitions of child labour or regulating and improving the working conditions various important child labour laws have been introduced.
In Pakistan, since the last decade concern has been shown by the government as well as by the civil society to protect the working children against conducive working conditions to their age and from other exploitation
Pakistan Lions Youth Council is implementing the project in Khanewal, under the new arrangements the ILO has adopted ILO “Declaration on Fundamental Rights”, and it can now bind the non-ratifying countries to implement even those conventions which are not ratified
