On August 12, 2025, the Pakistan Lions Youth Council (PLYC), under the RSS&CR project with the financial support of PPAF, organized a momentous inauguration ceremony in Union Council Makwal Kalan, Tehsil Taunsa, District Dera Ghazi Khan. This event coincided with Pakistan’s Independence Day celebration.

The ceremony was attended by 93 community members, including women, children, Government officials, and prominent political figures. The event was presided over by esteemed guests:

– Ex-Tehsil Nazim Khawja Allah Bux

– UC Nazim Muhammad Awais Khan

– Muhammad Ijaz Zil-e-Dar

The ceremony encompassed three significant activities:

  1. *Celebration of Independence Day*: The event commenced with a patriotic celebration of Pakistan’s Independence Day, honoring the nation’s freedom and sovereignty.
  2. *Inauguration of Filtration Plant*: The guests officially inaugurated a newly installed filtration plant, which will provide clean drinking water to the community, improving their health and well-being.
  3. *Tree Plantation*: The ceremony concluded with a tree plantation drive, promoting environmental conservation and sustainability.
