Donation Purpose To PLYC
Pakistan Lions Youth Council (PLYC) has implemented impactful projects addressing critical issues. Under the TB Control Program, 5,584 TB cases were notified and treated, with 895 cases successfully managed among bacteriologically confirmed TB patients. The Malaria Control Program improved health behaviors, benefiting vulnerable groups with training and treatment in all provinces of Pakistan. The HIV/AIDS Prevention Program provided services to high-risk populations, including 246,900 STI patients treated at APNA Clinic. In disaster relief efforts, the Community Livelihood & Rehabilitation Program constructed 100 shelter homes and provided educational facilities for flood-affected children. Additionally, through the Education Program, 1,175 children involved in child labor were enrolled in non-formal schools, receiving books, stipends, and uniforms. These initiatives highlight PLYC’s commitment to empowering communities and improving lives.
