Elimination of Child and Bonded Labor

Summary:
This project targets the elimination of child and bonded labor in sectors such as brick kilns and agriculture. PLYC identified 1,175 children involved in hazardous labor, transitioning them to schools with monthly stipends and educational support.

Community awareness sessions engaged local stakeholders to advocate for children’s rights and address the root causes of child labor. Surveys and research studies conducted by PLYC further informed policy recommendations for child protection.
